Bad Foods

Subtract 5 Points for EACH food you eat a day on this list.

  • Sugary cereal, full fat granola
  • Fried foods, cheesy foods
  • Bakery items such as muffins, cake, bagels, doughnuts, brownies, cookies, pie, sweet roll, danish, etc.
  • Soda (Regular or Diet) or other drinks with sugar
  • Ice cream, whole or 2% milk, cream, cream cheese
  • Potato chips, Cheetos, Fritos, Doritos, Cheez-Its, most crackers, etc.
  • Chocolate, candy, candy bars, pop tarts
  • Full sugar syrups, jams, jellies
  • White bread or white flour
  • You know what is bad for you! If it’s not on this list and it’s bad, subtract 5 points!

No points deducted for these foods



  •   Unsweetened cereals/High in Fiber: Cheerios, Wheaties, Crispix, etc.
  • Whole grain pasta
  • Nuts
  • Smuckers low sugar jam
  • Crystal Light or water flavor enhancements (no sugar)
  • Protein bar (less than 150 cal)
  • 100 cal popcorn snack or air popped popcorn
  • Sugar-free jello; fat-free, sugar-free jello pudding
  • Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich or low cal frozen desserts (~140 cal a serving)
  • Snackwell cookies, and other low cal snacks
  • Use your discretion on dressings, margarine, butter, dips, etc.
  • Triscuits or other healthy crackers (Wheat Thins are NOT a safe food.) Please use your discretion.
